Johnson, an electronics technician at the Coast Guard Electronics Support Detachment in Portsmouth, and other military representatives from the Hampton Roads area stepped forward to be identified before throwing the first pitch during the opening ceremony of the Norfolk Tides baseball club's 15th annual Military Appreciation Night at Harbor Park Saturday, May 22, 2010.

NORFOLK, Va. - Rear Adm. Wayne E. Justice, commander of the Coast Guard's 5th District, and other military leaders from the Hampton Roads area represented their service during the opening ceremony of the Norfolk Tides Baseball Club's 15th annual Military Appreciation Night at Harbor Park Saturday.

After the senior leaders from the area were introduced, Petty Officer 2nd Class Earl W. Johnson, an electronics technician at the Coast Guard Electronics Support Detachment in Portsmouth, and other military representatives from the Hampton Roads area stepped forward to be identified before throwing the first pitch.
