Coast Guard conducts hurricane warning flights

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Media are invited to ride along as a Coast Guard HC-130J Hercules airplane crew flies along the east coast Thursday making Urgent Marine Information Broadcasts about Hurricane Bill.

Coast Guard safety broadcast from aircraft
Notifies mariners of the approaching hurricane

Air Station Elizabeth City
1183 Weeksville Road, Elizabeth City, N.C.

When:
Thursday
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Media should arrive by 8:15 a.m.
